Photocopy of a handwritten and initialed letter addressed to Henry Sabey of Mt. Knickerbocker, Illinois, and dated 16 Nov. 1848. Miller writes concerning conditions of the Mormons at Council Bluffs, Iowa, what they have heard about the Salt Lake Valley of Utah, and describes the baptism of Oliver Cowdery, and early leader of the Mormon Church who had been cut off years earlier.
